Affinity Publisher: Mac-Beta jetzt zum Download verfügbar
Die Software-Schmiede Serif Labs hat ihr Versprechen, die erste Beta des bereits Ende 2017 angekündigten Layout-Programms Affinity Publisher noch im August zur Verfügung zu stellen, gehalten. Die Vorabversion lässt sich jetzt aus dem Netz laden.
Knapp 300MB groß, trägt die Mac-Ausgabe der „Affinity Publisher Beta“ die Versionsnummer 1.7. Der Zugriff auf den Download setzt allerdings voraus, dass ihr euch als interessierte Beta-Tester des InDesign-Konkurrenten registriert.
Um einen ersten Eindruck des Affinity Publisher zu erhaschen, eine App die das bereits angebotenen App-Doppel aus Affinity Photo und Affinity Designer ergänzen und langfristig wohl auch auf dem iPad laden dürfte, empfehlen wir euch diesen Mitschnitt der Affinity Live Keynote.

After thousands of hours of development time we are thrilled to say that our professional desktop publishing app, Affinity Publisher, is now in beta and available for you to try FOR FREE! We are still a few months before we release this first version, but we’d love you to try it out and let us know what you think.
A few things to say: It’s a beta – there will be bugs and areas of the app which are not yet fully polished. We don’t recommend you use it for any important production work at this time.
