Dies berichtet das Wall Street Journal und wirft bereits einen ersten Termin in den Ring: Das Bewegtbildprogramm, mit dem Spotify seinen Musik- und Podcast-Katalog unter anderem um Inhalte der BBC, des Jugendkanals VICE und dem US-Sender Comedy Central erweitern will, soll in den n\u00e4chsten Tagen in Deutschland, England, den USA und Schweden ausgerollt werden. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/images.ifun.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/spotify-1.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-87623\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/images.ifun.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/spotify-1.jpg\" alt=\"spotify-1\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-87623\" srcset=\"https:\/\/images.ifun.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/spotify-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/images.ifun.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/spotify-1-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So soll das Video-Angebot schon in dieser Woche auf der Android-Plattform deb\u00fctieren, die Ausweitung des mobilen Video-Dienstes auf die iOS-Plattform soll dann zu Beginn der 6. Kalenderwoche erfolgen. <\/p>\n<p>Nach Angaben des WSJ wird sich das Video-Angebot, dessen bevorstehenden Start der Musik-Streamer bereits im vergangenen Fr\u00fchjahr ank\u00fcndigte (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifun.de\/spotify-wird-zum-running-video-und-podcast-portal-76963\/\">ifun.de berichtete<\/a>), auf kurze Clips beschr\u00e4nken und damit an die Highlight-Spots amerikanischer Late-Night-Talker auf Youtube erinnern. Immerhin: Eine Geo-Einschr\u00e4nkung ist nicht vorgesehen. <\/p>\n<p>Spotify wird sein Video-Angebot in kuratierten Spartenkan\u00e4len b\u00fcndeln und vorerst komplett auf Reklame innerhalb der Clips verzichten: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Spotify found during the beta period that it was offering too many ways for people to find video. So, the company has focused on compartmentalizing video content and creating programming packages, like &#8222;News of the Week&#8220; or &#8222;Laughs at Lunch&#8220; [&#8230;] Right now, Spotify makes money by selling an ad-free subscription service, or by showing ads to nonsubscribers.
