In der aktuellen Vision Pro arbeitet mit dem M5 ein Prozessor, der auch in Macs und iPads zum Einsatz kommt. Apple erg\u00e4nzt diesen allerdings um den speziell entwickelten R1-Chip, der die Daten der Kameras, Sensoren und Mikrofone verarbeitet. Qualcomm will dagegen m\u00f6glichst viele XR-Aufgaben direkt in einer auf diesen Einsatzzweck zugeschnittenen Plattform b\u00fcndeln.<\/p>\n<p>Der Snapdragon Reality Elite liefert laut Hersteller bis zu 48 TOPS f\u00fcr lokale KI-Aufgaben. Damit sollen gro\u00dfe Sprach- und Bildmodelle direkt auf der Brille laufen k\u00f6nnen, etwa f\u00fcr r\u00e4umliche Assistenten, fotorealistische Avatare oder Objekte, die anhand eines Sprachbefehls in der Umgebung erscheinen.<\/p>\n<h2>Bis zu 4,4K pro Auge<\/h2>\n<p>Qualcomm verspricht bis zu 4,4K Aufl\u00f6sung pro Auge bei 90 Bildern pro Sekunde. Qualcomm spricht von bis zu 20 Prozent l\u00e4ngerer Laufzeit bei gleicher Belastung. Unter Last soll der Chip zudem bis zu zw\u00f6lf Grad Celsius k\u00fchler bleiben. Beides ist bei Technik, die direkt am Kopf getragen wird, wichtige Faktoren.<\/p>\n<h2>Apple kombiniert M5 und R1<\/h2>\n<p>Apple setzt bei der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifun.de\/apple-vision-pro-mit-m5-chip-die-zweite-generation-ist-guenstiger-267157\/\">aktuellen Vision Pro mit M5<\/a> auf eine Dual-Chip-L\u00f6sung. Der leistungsstarke M-Prozessor \u00fcbernimmt Betriebssystem, Apps, Grafik und KI-Aufgaben, w\u00e4hrend der R1 die Sensordaten mit m\u00f6glichst geringer Verz\u00f6gerung verarbeitet. Das bietet viel Leistung, f\u00fchrt bislang aber zu einer vergleichsweise gro\u00dfen und schweren Brille mit externem Akku.<\/p>\n<p>Qualcomm will seine Plattform dagegen an unterschiedliche Bauformen verkaufen und damit ein breiteres Hersteller-\u00d6kosystem versorgen. Als erste Produkte sind die transparente Android-XR-Brille XREAL Project Aura und ein kommendes Ger\u00e4t von Play for Dream angek\u00fcndigt.
