Vor 35 Jahren, im April 1977 wurde mit dem <a href=\"http:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Apple_II\">Apple II<\/a> eines erfolgreichsten Computermodelle mit Apfel-Logo vorgestellt. Insgesamt 16 Jahre lang fand sich das Ger\u00e4t in verschiedenen Ausf\u00fchrungen im Handel, darunter das auch als deutsche Exportversion erh\u00e4ltliche Modell Apple IIe (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/hieber\/sets\/72157617471215853\/\">hier das Handbuch<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Der Relevanz des Apple II hat Apple jahrelang durch folgenden Satz am Ende von Pressemitteilungen Rechnung getragen: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Inzwischen haben sich die Schwerpunkte im Unternehmen bekanntlich verschoben. Aus der alten Firmenbezeichnung &#8222;Apple Computer&#8220; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifun.de\/apple-plant-iphone-ende-juni-leopard-im-oktober-3064\/\">wurde 2007<\/a> das neutralere &#8222;Apple&#8220; und die Computer spielen im aktuellen Nachsatz zu Pressemitteilungen beinahe schon eine Nebenrolle:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Apple designs Macs, the best personal computers in the world, along with OS X, iLife, iWork and professional software.
