Doch h\u00f6ren sich die Aussagen der in der Dropbox-Community aktiven Mitarbeiter ganz und gar nicht danach an.<\/p>\n<p>Als letztes Statement erschien vor vier Wochen die <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropboxforum.com\/t5\/Dropbox-ideas\/Apple-Silicon-M1-Desktop-Sync-Compatibility\/idc-p\/545945\/highlight\/true#M63439\">Mitteilung<\/a>, dass sich man auf Apple-Computern mit M1-Prozessoren doch \u201ebis auf weiteres\u201c mit Apples Zwischenl\u00f6sung <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/de-de\/HT211861\">Rosetta<\/a> behelfen solle, um die Desktop-Anwendung von Dropbox auszuf\u00fchren. \u201eMan arbeite daran sicherzustellen, dass Dropbox und alle seine Funktionen weiterhin vollst\u00e4ndig mit allen Ger\u00e4ten kompatibel sind, auf denen unterst\u00fctzte Versionen von macOS laufen\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>Anstelle von konkreten Antworten versorgt Dropbox seine &#8211; teils auch zahlenden &#8211; Nutzer mit nichtssagenden Floskeln. Dabei h\u00e4tte die immer wieder als unn\u00f6tig ressourcenfressende Anwendung ohnehin dringend entsprechende Pflege verdient. Als Alternative bleibt somit neben dem Warten auf bessere Nachrichten lediglich die wenig komfortable Nutzung von Dropbox \u00fcber die Web-Oberfl\u00e4che.<\/p>\n<h2>Maestral als native Alternative<\/h2>\n<p>Vor diesem Hintergrund gewinnen konkurrierende Cloud-L\u00f6sungen ebenso wie alternative Dropbox-Clients zunehmend an Interesse. Als besonders empfehlenswert pr\u00e4sentiert sich hier das Open-Source-Projekt <a href=\"https:\/\/maestral.app\">Maestral<\/a>. Die Anwendung l\u00e4sst sich nativ sowohl auf Intel als auch auf Macs mit Apple-Prozessoren verwenden.
