Die App erlaubt das Sichern und Synchronisieren von Fotos und sonstigen Dateien.<\/p>\n<p>Da das automatische Sichern von Fotos sicherlich die attraktivste Funktion der Anwendung darstellt, bewirbt Google die App der zugeh\u00f6rigen <a href=\"https:\/\/photos.google.com\/apps\">Downloadseite<\/a> besonders mit Fokus auf eben diese Funktion. Erg\u00e4nzend ist es m\u00f6glich, auch beliebige sonstige Dateien auf Google Drive zu sichern. Nach dem Download k\u00f6nnt ihr festlegen, ob ihr nur Fotos und Videos oder auch weitere Dateitypen sichern wollt. Zu beachten ist hierbei die Tatsache, dass ihr Fotos und Videos zum einen mit Google Fotos synchronisieren und dann auch \u00fcber die zugeh\u00f6rigen Apps oder das Webinterface auf diese Inhalte zugreifen und erweiterte Fotofunktionen nutzen k\u00f6nnt.
